Today involved settling in and patching up the most recent issues with the bus. Everything from a broken coffee maker, a casualty of the NYC scenic tour of potholed back streets, to a huge man-made hole in the bus’ firewall we discovered during the trip north that streamed cold air into the cab when you went over 20 miles an hour.
Jack and Ellie needed to get back into the school rhythm and Jana and I spent time whittling away at our respective deferred to do lists. Jana’s mom came over during the day and Ida and Wess (Jana’s sister and brother-in-law) brought a lovely dinner for everyone to enjoy that night. Busy day, but a great start to our MA leg of the journey.

Strive to be the person your dog thinks you are.
