The weather continues to be unseasonably amazing. It is 78 degrees so Ida and Wess invite us on their boat along with Joe and Jess and John and Ellie, all of whom we know well. Back in July, they all rented a large van and came down to visit us in Charlottesville for a long weekend of fun at our house and breweries and wineries visits. The 10 of us (including Jack and Ellie) had an awesome time. The boating turns out to be spectacular with the lake lined by trees with autumn colored leaves against a cloudless deep blue sky and glass-like water. We thoroughly enjoy the supreme weather and serenity of the picturesque scene over a couple of beverages. Later that evening, we catch up with Zuzana and her family for dinner.

Our trip to Australia was delayed due to port closures throughout the South Pacific. We spent the month making improvements to Hanavave so that we could make the passage to Australia with fewer stops.
