Travel Day | Baltimore, MD to Roanoke, VA

It’s a rainy gray day and we leave Baltimore and Tim & Liz’s and head to Charlottesville to move our deck furniture that we forgot at the house and to pick up our dry cleaning, which we also forgot.
Grant: The rain is pretty constant and the trip to CVille all too familiar. We get the ‘chores’ done in CVille and head south. We make it to Roanoke by dark and stay at a Gander Mountain Outdoor and RV Center. We need a few things and Gander allows RV’ers to stay in their parking lot overnight. It is good to be ‘done’ with the move and all the associated complexities. Even sleeping overnight in a parking lot feels pretty good without a bunch of urgent/important items hanging over our heads.
