Travel Day | Asheville, NC to Charleston, SC
ODOMETER: 79,678 | MILES TRAVELED: 1,733
by Grant
Up at the crack of dawn and was first to be checked into Diesel Power for the day. It’s a monstrous facility with 24 bays to work on trucks and RV’s. Diane took great care of us and Boshen (the foreman) and Igor (the tech) diagnosed and dealt with Thelma’s menopausal issues. She was indeed overheating due to debris in the radiator and they allowed us to stay on board while they cleaned her radiator in just a few hours and rather than having to handle seven heartbeats in the Jeep for the day we hit the road to Charleston earlier than expected.
Thelma stayed cool the entire trip and we glided over the SC rolling hills. We arrived at the James Island Campground and were met with some awesome Christmas light displays. All set up and snuggled in for the night we are going to hit the beach with Jack and Stellie tomorrow and find a trail to hit in the AM.

Sailing Tahiti to Australia | Month 2 FP
Here is what our second month living on our boat, Hanavave, in Tahiti, French Polynesia, was like.
Our trip to Australia was delayed due to port closures throughout the South Pacific. We spent the month making improvements to Hanavave so that we could make the passage to Australia with fewer stops.
