James Island, Charleston, SC

It’s warming back up again. This is our last full day in Charleston and as much as we have enjoyed Folly Beach, we’re excited to explore the beaches on Hilton Head Island. Jana’s busy wrapping up some work and I found a valve for Thelma’s water works and have rebuilt the intake system. Now we’re leak free and can plug into ‘city water’ without spraying water everywhere. This is particularly nice because the system is pressurized and doesn’t require the noisy pressure pump to prime the system.

Jana has been reviewing the kids’ school work and there’s a backlog so we need to get them to squae it away before Thanksgiving. I’ve also been looking for a replacement standup paddleboard and will look at a couple tomorrow.

Ellie purchased a  WACOM digitizing pad for drawing on her MacBook tonight. We’re excited to see what she comes up with. She’s really talented in this realm and we’re excited to see her exploring. Tonight we grilled out which was fun. Grilled chicken breasts and No Bull Burgers, corn and steamed potatoes – YUMMM! No Bull Burgers are the best meatless burger we’ve found, and they’re from Charlottesville 🙂
