Sawfish Park, Palm Beach & Jupiter, FL

This morning, Jana and I headed out to Sawfish Park and found a great canoe/SUP put-in area. We paddled back into the Loxahatchee River – Lake Worth Creek Aquatic Preserve . It was awesome! There was a lot of boat traffic on Thanksgiving weekend Saturday, but we got to see some cool wildlife, turtles, pelicans, fish, but no manatees ?.

We also caught a couple of “White Claws” that were floating on the water . . . we put them in the trash where they belonged.

We then headed back to the RV and tried to mobilize the troops to go to the beach. We ended up at Juno Beach and had a great swim and hang out. Dune Dogs was recommended to us as a local treasure for good food and friendly vibes.

We grabbed take out there and went back to hang out with the hounds and enjoy some great fish and chips and burgers and fries.

Jack did some experimental photography of the moon which was almost full. It was lively clear skies and a cool Florida night.

Jana and I finally got to watch “Walk the Line” about Johnny Cash and June Carter with Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. It was en excellent movie and it wasn’t until I saw the credits that I realized how old that movie was. Regardless, it was excellent!
