This morning, we headed back to the Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve for a run/ride. It is a beautiful morning and we did a couple of laps through the trail system. The Spanish Moss is absolutely superb here, draped from trees throughout the preserve.

We climbed the observation tower and got a tremendous view of the preserve and beyond. This is a tremendous resource in this community and people come here to fish, gather driftwood, run, ride and walk.

That afternoon, I had to go to the Department of Transport to finalize registration of the Jeep. That took up most of my afternoon, but I got back in time to go for a paddle at Bird Creek Beach with Jana. It’s almost sunset so the light is magical.

Jack got some drone photos and Jana set up a family photo which we’d like to take more of. We’re in all these amazing places and don’t have a visual record of the family visiting all these cool spots.

The sunset is absolutely extraordinary and there are a few people with beach chairs set up to watch this magical light show.

It’s back to the RV, more Mario Kart and general hilarity.

We climbed the observation tower and got a tremendous view of the preserve and beyond.

Our trip to Australia was delayed due to port closures throughout the South Pacific. We spent the month making improvements to Hanavave so that we could make the passage to Australia with fewer stops.

Why We Sold Our Home to Live on a Bus and Travel Full-TimeAt any other point in time, the decision to sell our home and move into an RV to travel the U.S. full-time with two teenagers and three dogs might be quite ridiculous. But in these unfathomably complex and...
