We spent this day preparing for tomorrow’s trip to Guerrero Negro. Grant and Jack installed the new tow package on the Jeep and Stellie and I took care of the inside of the RV. There is always a lot to do in preparation for travel, especially after we’ve been stopped for a while. We like to have laundry done, everything well put away and the bus clean. With three dogs onboard, I vacuum every day, but endless dust accumulates on the dash, the window blinds and any surface imaginable. Perfect cleanliness is not achievable under the circumstances, but I have learned to be ok with that. It is a good lesson in letting go of unreasonable constructs. Having spent three weeks parked on the beach, Thelma is also covered in sand so I spent a lot of time trying to clean it out to the best of my ability.
We decided to get takeout ceviche for dinner from a restaurant on the beach about 100 yards away. We only discovered it about a week ago and found that Fernando, the chef, makes the best ceviche we’ve ever had.
We spent today preparing for tomorrow’s trip to Guerrero Negro.
