The weather was beautiful today and the winds died down. Grant and I had a nice walk on the beach this morning followed by a swim in the ocean. The water here is beautifully clear and not too cold at close to 70 degrees. We enjoyed plenty of time sitting on the beach and taking in the ocean.

In the afternoon and evening, we caught up with our friends Staci and Blair from Oregon, who we met in a Costco parking lot before crossing the border in El Centro. They joined us in San Felipe for a couple of days before moving on to La Ventana to go kiteboarding. Staci and Blair are ultramarathoners and ironman racers and we had a lot in common. Their puppy, Ranger, is super cute and full of energy. They are staying for a few days before going back to La Ventana, so we are excited to have some company.
