The beautiful sunrises just keep coming. It has been reasonably windy so we haven’t paddled yet, but hope to soon.

Jana and I spent much of the morning outside discussing the trip, where we are at, and where we are headed. We stress about Jack and Ellie and school, but equally we feel the kaleidoscope of communities and vistas we’re exposing them to is in some measure helping keep us all sane.

We ended up going back to rent the ATVs and had fun burning up and down the dunes behind the beach and camp.

After a lovely lunch at Matilda’s, we went back to the RV to catch up. Since it snowed in Charlottesville, Jack and Ellie had a “snow day” at school, so they did some work in the evening and we relaxed.
