Travel Day | San Felipe, Mexico to El Centro, U.S.
ODOMETER: 85,698 | TODAY’S MILES: 137 | TOTAL MILES TRAVELED: 7,483
In the morning, we took off from San Felipe to El Centro, CA. This road is much better than most of the roads we encountered further down the Baja, so the driving is a lot less stressful. We reached the border by lunchtime and had a relatively uneventful border crossing. We headed out to the Rio Bend RV Park and got a lovely spot facing the “lake.”
We welcomed getting our wifi system going again and having some grass for the dogs to do their business. I think we were all a little over the desert and this was like a little oasis for us.
